We are delighted to announce the visit of Dr John Mortensen, a Fulbright specialist, who will be performing a lunchtime concert on Tuesday, 20th February at 1:10 p.m. in the Curtis Auditorium.
The concert is based on improvisation on 18th century styles styles such as toccata, French overture, and fugue. John will also perform a spontaneous sonata in 19th century style, using thematic ideas from the audience. Time permitting, the concert may also include improvisations in jazz and contemporary styles.
Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.
