CR130 BAMT Applicant 2021 Assessment Submission
In view of the current Covid-19 pandemic situation, candidates for entry to the BAMT in Sept 2021 will not be expected to attend the CIT Cork School of Music in person. Instead we require you to send us video using the below instructions

Due to the size of the audition videos we cannot accept these directly, please upload yours as 'unlisted' to YouTube and send us the links or playlist using the online form below. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any queries or problems with the video upload.
Smartphone video is fine provided both the video and audio are of a reasonable quality.
All candidates should begin their videos by speaking - to the camera - their full names and CAO numbers
Before performing each piece the candidate should speak again to camera introducing the work with a title and composer (if known)
We need three snippets, either in one continuous file, three separate files, or a YouTube playlist:
- Two contrasting musical theatre songs - these may be unaccompanied, have live accompaniment, or backing tracks.
- A dramatic monologue, from a published work. Between 2 and 4 minutes
Stage 1: Prepare a solo Dance in a style of your choice( Suitable to Musical Theatre Genre - Jazz, Ballet or Tap) This should not be longer than 1 min 15 sec in length and should demonstrate your areas of strength.
Please ensure you are dressed and groomed appropriately making sure you are visible from head to toe and that your movement is the focus of this recording.
Stage 2: Learn this given Choreography THE LINK TO THIS VIDEO WILL BE AVAILABLE HERE on WED 31 MARCH 2021. This will give you ten days to learn and record.
