Graduated with an honours B.Mus. Degree from U.C.C., where he was tutored by the late Aloys Fleischmann. Creative Music Training, at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, and in Brass Pedagogy, at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
