Lecturer in Set Design, Props and Costume Design

Lisa is an artist and designer originally from San Francisco, California, where she earned her MFA, BA and AA in Fine Art. She was nominated for Best Costume Design in the Irish Times Theatre awards in 2022 for Heart of a Dog (Dublin Theatre Festival) and in 2012 for Pagliacci (Everyman Cork). Other recent projects include Big Chapel X (Kilkenny Arts Festival), The Monkey's Paw (film), Caveat (film), Nightingale and the Rose (Everyman) and Artist in Residence at Midleton Arts Festival. She is currently a member of The Academy of the Wooden Puppet, Reykjavik, and the Irish Society of Stage and Screen Designers. Lisa works primarily in costume design, set design, prop design, puppet and doll making, masks, costume-props and specialised scenery for stage and film.
