Congratulations to Anna Jansson, Piano - a student of Mary Beattie on winning the Junior Concerto Competition on Friday last. There was a total of 18 concerto performances, with 2 students performing two concertos each (Anna was one of these).
The Adjudicator for the competition was Kenneth Rice, a former student of CIT Cork School of Music and now a member of the Irish Chamber Orchestra and West Ocean String Quartet. He was full of praise for the students and the high standard achieved.
