Well done to the sixty-four performers in the Advanced Recital Competition 2021 and especially to the winner, Pianist David Vesey.
This year's adjudicator was Paul Frost and he left a brief summary to participants as he wasn't able to deliver this in person due to Covid restrictions:
Congratulations and thanks to you all.
Over the four days I felt priviledged to witness the extraordinary hard work which was put into your memorable performances.
There was an amazing variety of both instruments, voices and approaches which was real evidence that the ways in which we can express ourselves through music are so uniquely personal and therefore so endless.
Good luck with your musical journeys into the future.
Thanks to Aiveen and staff of the CSM and to the heroic work of the accompanists. paulfrost.ie
