Congratulations to Jessica O’Shea on receiving the highest result in the 2016 Leaving Cert Music exam.
Jessica began playing the violin from the age of five and has been a student of the Cork School of Music since she was six years old, where she studied under Patsy Kelleher and Cornelia Zanidache. Over the years she has been involved with numerous orchestras including the CSM Symphony Orchestra, the Cork Youth Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland and has travelled on tour to Romania with the Vienna Youth Orchestra as a guest player. She was also a member of the Primavera String Quartet under the tutelage of Constantin Zanidache for three years.
Jessica has also featured in many competitions at Cork School of Music over recent years. A star student all round!
